Healthy family formation and preservation provides a social benefit that should be promoted by all sectors of our society.  The nuclear and extended family is the foundational institution that supports all societies.

Strong families are founded on the following ideal: the lifelong marriage of one man and one woman. Healthy lifelong marriage enriches the lives of the couple, their children, and the community around them.

Fathers play a unique and irreplaceable role in ensuring the economic, emotional, and social health of children. Father absence creates turmoil in the lives of children and our culture.

Our children need the protection of stable families and a healthy understanding of human sexuality. Our elders deserve to have security and care provided by loving family members in a comfortable home environment.

The Limited Role of Government
Government should promote the common good by encouraging faith-based organizations, families, and private institutions to nurture and protect the family and vulnerable citizens.Government should eliminate barriers that discourage the formation of healthy families.

Honoring the Unique Cultural Backgrounds of the People of Kansas.

Kansas is home to peoples from a mosaic of beautiful cultural heritages. Beginning with the indigoes tribes, then the emigrant tribes still with us, to the pioneers, homesteaders, Exodusters, Irish and Mexican railroad workers, Mennonites and Russian, Germans, hundreds of foreign language communities in every county, The miners of Southeast Kansas, The Slavs of Kansas City to the recent Hispanic and Asia immigrants, we need to honor and understand each other. We believe that as we know and honor each other’s unique cultural identity individuals and families will be strengthened.
